From Whistler to the ITHQ
It was at the Fairmont Château Whistler that Jean-Philippe discovered his passion for cooking. Back in Québec, he entered the Institut de tourisme et d'hôtellerie du Québec, graduating in Cuisine, then Advanced Cuisine.
Stars and the road
He then honed his craft through stages in Michelin-starred restaurants and went on to work in establishments around the world — eventually launching his own gourmet food truck on Vancouver Island.
Back to the Laurentians
With more than fifteen years in the trade, Jean-Philippe returned to Québec and founded Camelot in Mont-Tremblant: a private chef and catering service whose menus follow the seasons and Québec gastronomy.
